5 Summer Looks That I’m Loving Right Now

It’s time for warm-weather style! For inspiration, I love collecting my favorite looks on my spring/summer Pinterest board. I’m a big fan of maxi dresses and skirts, shirtdresses and rompers. Shorts and I don’t get along. I see a cute pair in a store or a style blogger, I give them a try and they fit me weird. I always end up uncomfortable. I’ll still feature them here because not everyone has the same problems (maybe you hate maxi dresses, but love shorts) and I like gathering inspiration for all tastes. Below, I share the summer looks that I’m loving right now.

Off-Shoulder Tops

Enjoy fun in the sun in a pair of distress shorts, an off-shoulder striped top, and your favorite accessories. Complete the look with a floppy hat and sunglasses. Don’t forget sunscreen!

Yellow Everything

Wear a color that makes you smile! Yellow is such a pretty, underrated color. Add a piece in yellow to your summer wardrobe like a flowy maxi dress. Style it with heeled sandals and a clutch for a date or gladiators and tote for a casual outing.

Bell Sleeves

Add a romantic touch to your outfit with a top featuring bell sleeves. Keep the rest of your look simple since the top is going to be the focal point. Style with trousers, flats and minimal jewelry.

Rompers are a must-have for summer looks. They are super versatile and go with everything. You can pretty much wear them day or night by just changing a few accessories. Opt for one in a pretty color like red, and style it with sandals, tote, and hat. For night, switch your sandals for pumps, plus add an embellished clutch to finish the look.

Embroidered Florals

Embroidered Florals

Breath new life into your denim by wearing pieces with embroidered florals. You’ll see this trend everywhere from jeans to jackets and skirts. Start small by getting a jacket with embroidery to see if you like the trend. Style your jacket over your maxi dresses, or with a white tee and black skinny jeans for a cool girl vibe.
